About | Our Story
Suzette McFaul’s entrepreneurial flair emerged with the launch of her first business venture at the age of 13. From small business to medium sized management consulting firm, Suzette has successfully built and led passionate, energetic teams that achieve goals and exceed expectations of customers and stakeholders. Her insight and ability to relate has earned her respect from an international network of stakeholders.
Suzette was introduced to the Sirolli Enterprise Facilitation® methodology when community leaders brought Dr. Ernesto Sirolli and Yvonne Fizer into her community of New Westminster, British Columbia. Bitten by the philosophy and proven success in helping businesses, Suzette fell in love with the idea.
In 1999, Suzette became the first Enterprise Facilitator in British Columbia. Her mandate: assist people in starting their own business and help existing businesses expand. She provided assistance to New Westminster clients ranging in size from small home based businesses to $12 million development projects. During her four year tenure as Enterprise Facilitator, she personally assisted over 105 new businesses with a success rate of over 90%. Today, those businesses are still going strong and she recalls the biggest rewards were helping entrepreneurs realize their dreams.
Her success awarded her the coveted role of Master Enterprise Facilitator and she commenced training and mentoring other professionals around the world on effective facilitation techniques. From the western chapters of the United States of America to England, Suzette passion rippled into other communities worldwide. From one community to five dozens it became about so much more than the small city she first began with; it became about uniting passion and skill in every individual across the globe who desired to own their own business.
Suzette created SEF Canada Ltd as an economic development tool based on her history and the fundamentals that human nature and collaboration within a community is important. Recently Suzette was appointed to the Advisory Committee for mining information tools for Aboriginal communities in Canada by the Government of Canada.
Suzette’s passion for her hometown of Vancouver, Canada and the world at large, lead her to believe that – no matter where the people are, no matter where resources companies reside, passionate entrepreneurs are abundant and regional and rural areas need economic development - will embrace this Entrepreneurial Development approach.
Suzette is excited to build upon her vision to assist in advancing The Entrepreneurial Development Program world wide.
